VVT Med Enters Panama Market Through Trial Distribution Agreement for ScleroSafe

Canada NewsWire

Agreement with Ebtec Establishes a 12-Month Evaluation Framework for ScleroSafe® and a Potential Pathway to Long-Term Distribution

VANCOUVER, BC, Oct. 22, 2026 /CNW/ -- VVT Med Inc. (TSXV: VVTM) ("VVT Med" or the "Company"), a developer of minimally invasive, non-thermal, non-tumescent ("NT-NT") solutions for venous disease, today announced a definitive 12-month Trial Distribution and Evaluation Agreement (the "Agreement"), starting October 5th, 2026, with Ebtec ("Ebtec"), a Panama-based distributor, to evaluate the market and clinical potential of ScleroSafe® in Panama. Publication of this announcement is subject to confirmation of execution by both parties.

Under the Agreement, Ebtec is appointed as importer and conditionally exclusive trial distributor of ScleroSafe® in Panama, subject to training, regulatory compliance, and purchase obligations. The Agreement provides for an initial order of at least ten ScleroSafe® Full Sets within 14 days of its effective date and an additional order of at least ten sets within six months. The parties intend to evaluate market demand, clinical use, customer development, and distributor performance during the trial period.

The Panama initiative represents another step in VVT Med's efforts to establish a broader commercial footprint in Latin America. It follows the Company's previously announced commercial agreement in the Dominican Republic and supports its strategy of developing local partnerships to facilitate physician education, clinical evaluation, and market access across the region. The agreement does not itself establish commercial adoption or regulatory clearance in Panama.

The Agreement provides for a review of distributor performance before the end of the 12-month trial period. Subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement, the parties may negotiate a separate five-year exclusive distribution agreement. No such long-term agreement has been executed, and there is no assurance that one will be reached.

"Panama represents an additional opportunity to build our presence in Latin America through a structured, locally supported evaluation of ScleroSafe," said Erez Tetro, Chief Executive Officer of VVT Med. "Following our commercial activities in the Dominican Republic, this agreement reflects our approach of working with regional partners to assess market needs, support physician training, and establish a foundation for potential longer-term commercialization."

The Company continues to pursue a measured international commercialization strategy, combining local distributor relationships with physician engagement and appropriate regulatory and clinical processes. Activities in Panama remain subject to the requirements of the trial agreement and applicable local regulations.
